Do Not Sell My Personal Information

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Notice

We Do Not Sell Personal Information

Coactra does not sell your personal information to third parties. We have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months and do not have actual knowledge of selling personal information of minors under 16 years of age.

What This Means

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" of their personal information. CCPA defines "sale" broadly to include sharing personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. Similar rights exist under other privacy laws (GDPR for EU/UK residents, PIPEDA for Canadian residents).

Coactra does not engage in any activities that meet the CCPA definition of "sale," including:

  • We do not provide your personal information to data brokers
  • We do not share your information with advertisers for monetary compensation
  • We do not exchange your information for services or benefits from third parties
  • We do not allow third parties to collect your information from our platform for their own use

How We Share Information

While we do not sell your personal information, we do share information with third parties in the following limited circumstances, which are not considered sales under CCPA:

1. Service Providers

We share information with service providers who perform services on our behalf under contract, such as:

  • Infrastructure: Cloud hosting, storage, and off-site backup providers
  • Payment processing: Subscription billing and transactions
  • Email delivery: Transactional and account-related emails
  • Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage data only

A complete list of specific service providers is available to customers on request. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide services to us and not for their own purposes.

2. AI and Enrichment Services (User-Initiated Only)

When you choose to use AI or data enrichment features, we send limited information to third-party AI and data enrichment providers. This sharing is:

  • Initiated by your explicit action (enabling features or running enrichment)
  • Necessary to provide the service you requested
  • Subject to Data Processing Agreements that prohibit using your data for the provider's own purposes
  • Opt-out-able — you can disable these features at any time from your workspace settings

3. Integrations You Connect

When you connect third-party tools (CRM, email, calendar), data flows to those services only as you configure through automations or manual actions. This is:

  • Under your direct control
  • Necessary to provide the integration you requested
  • Not considered a "sale" because you direct the sharing

Other CCPA Rights

California residents have additional rights under CCPA. Users in other jurisdictions have equivalent rights under their local laws (GDPR for EU/UK, PIPEDA for Canada). See our Privacy Policy for details about:

  • Right to Know what personal information we collect
  • Right to Delete your personal information
  • Right to Correct inaccurate information
  • Right to Opt-Out of sharing for targeted advertising (we don't engage in this)
  • Right to Non-Discrimination for exercising your rights

Financial Incentives

We do not offer financial incentives or price differences in exchange for the collection, retention, or sale of personal information.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your privacy rights (CCPA, GDPR, PIPEDA, or other applicable laws) or ask questions about our data practices:

  • Email: privacy@coactra.com
  • Subject: "Privacy Request - [Your Request Type]"
  • Include: Your account email, specific request, and verification details

We respond to verified requests within 45 days. We may require proof of your identity before fulfilling requests. California residents may also designate an authorized agent to submit requests on their behalf by providing written authorization.
